Please mind, the USPS requires that you fill a customs form for all packages shipped out of the United States.
- Choose the type of products you are going to ship from the list: merchandise, gift or other.
- You do not need to fill in the field EEL\PFC (Exemption and Exclusion Legend code or a Proof of Filing Citation) if the cost of all purchases you ship in the same package is not more than $2.499. NOEEI 30.37(a) is set by default. Learn more about EEL \ PFC.
- Line 1. Describe the items you ship. Indicate the same type items’ origin country, the weight, quantity and price per one item.
- Add more lines if necessary.

Also you can copy a label link and share it with everybody who can print it.
EEL \ PFC — when shipping outside the US, you need to provide either an Exemption and Exclusion Legend (EEL) code or a Proof of Filing Citation (PFC). Which you need is based on the value of the goods being shipped.
If the value of the goods is less than $2,500, then you pass the following EEL code: "NOEEI 30.37(a)" (installed by default)
If the value of the goods is greater than $2,500, you need to get an Automated Export System (AES) Internal Transaction Number (ITN) for your shipment. ITN will look like “AES X20120502123456”. To get an ITN, go to the AESDirect website.
An ITN is required for any international shipment valued over $2,500 and/or requires an export license unless exemptions apply.
Learn more in the Transition to ACE guide, and in the ACE AESDirect User Guide
You can delete a label if it is not paid and printed. Go to the “Labels” page in your console. Choose a label you want to be deleted and click "Delete label" under the label's status.
When the label is deleted you will see the notification "Label successfully deleted" at the top of the page.
You can reprint any label. It’s free of charge. You should go to the “Labels” tab in your console. Find a label in the list and click “Print” under the tracking number. You can reprint the same label numerous times.
Please note: If a label is paid and printed but you have entered the sender or recipient address, its weight, or shipping service incorrectly, you won’t be able to change the specified data when reprinting the label. If a mistake has been made, please request a postage refund and create an entirely new label with the correct information.

To find the HS Tariff Number for your product, go to the US Census Bureau Schedule B Search Engine. Simply click on the purple sign "HS code database" under the field "HS Tariff Number" in the Customs section where you fill out your label. This will take you to the search engine page where you can enter your product details and retrieve the corresponding HS Tariff Number. This helpful tool ensures that you accurately provide the required information for your customs documentation.
When using the Schedule B Search Engine page, it's best to search for the simplest and most basic one-word description of your product. For instance, if you're shipping a dress, type in "dress" and then click the blue 'Classify' button, which is represented by a magnifying glass icon.
Afterwards, you'll be directed to a section titled "Tell Us More About," where you'll need to choose the most relevant option from the displayed results. Select the option that best matches your item. Let's take a look at an example for a women's dress 100% cotton (non-knitted):
Then proceed by selecting the subsequent options that accurately describe your item(s):
Enter 100 in the text field next to the word "Cotton" for a women's dress 100% cotton (non-knitted):
When all the necessary information is filled out, please click "Accept."
Afterwards, the search engine will provide you with the corresponding HS Tariff Number for your item. In this specific case, since the women's dress made of 100% cotton, the HS Tariff Number would be 6204.42.0000, as shown below:
Once you have got your HS Tariff Number, simply enter it into the "HS Tariff Number" field when filling out your customs form on Qwintry Global:
Helpful Hint: If you are unable to find a result using the Census Bureau Schedule B Search Engine, you can try searching for your item on this website: https://hts.usitc.gov/.
Before buying any label, please check the USPS Postal Explorer to see if there are any restrictions or prohibitions for shipping your items. Depending on the kind of item(s) you're sending, the postal carrier may not allow you to ship your parcel at all!
HS Tariff Number also known as Harmonized System (HS) or Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code is a unique identifier assigned by the international mailing system to categorize and track imported products across different countries.
Many customs departments in foreign countries require this number to determine the customs duties and import taxes that recipients must pay when their shipment enters their country. While the inclusion of a HS Tariff Number on the customs form may be optional for some countries, it is mandatory for shipments destined for European Union (EU) member countries due to new VAT guidelines. Furthermore, Northern Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, and certain South American countries like Brazil also require HS Tariff Numbers on all labels.
Given the increasing number of countries adopting this requirement, it is advisable to include the HS Tariff Number on the customs form for all international shipments whenever possible. View the full list of European countries that mandate HS Tariff Numbers.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) prohibits the shipment of goods valued at over $2,499. All such packages will be returned to the US Customs Service without compensation for the cost of delivery. We DO NOT RECOMMEND sending expensive items without insurance.
Occasionally, you may come across a HS Tariff Number that doesn't consist of 10 digits like the one shown in the example below:
Don't worry, this is perfectly fine! Here are a few things to consider:
- Our "HS Tariff Number" field in the Customs form section accepts both HS and Schedule B numbers.
- The numbers should be a minimum of 6 digits in length, but they can be longer.
- Longer numbers provide a more specific description of the shipped item and often indicate the destination country.
- It's perfectly acceptable to include country-specific codes that can be up to 14 digits long, and our system can accept these variations.
Important note: Avoid adding extra zeros at the end of your number to reach the minimum of 6 digits. Adding zeros at the end could potentially represent entirely different items, causing confusion. So it's best to avoid appending zeros for the sake of reaching the required length.

USPS Postage Information & Shipping Tips
Starting in July 2023, USPS has merged First Class Package and Parcel Select Ground services under a new name called USPS Ground Advantage. This service is the most cost-effective option offered by USPS and is suitable for packages weighing less than 1 pound, with rates calculated based on the package's weight in ounces (previously known as First Class Package). For packages weighing more than 1 pound, Ground Advantage offers rates based on both weight and dimensions (previously known as Parcel Select Ground).
Although Ground Advantage is a budget-friendly option, it is important to note that it operates at a slower pace compared to other USPS services. Priority Mail, on the other hand, is more popular among customers due to its faster and reliable delivery, along with additional benefits such as Flat Rate options and free packaging.
Both versions of the Ground Advantage service offer a similar delivery speed, ranging from 2 to 5 days based on the distance. They also provide convenient features like full door-to-door package tracking and include $100 worth of USPS insurance coverage.
However, it's important to note that unlike Priority Mail, Ground Advantage does not offer free packaging options. This means you will need to purchase your own boxes or envelopes for shipping. On the bright side, you can use any type of packaging you prefer, as long as it is not a package specifically branded for Priority Mail. So, you have the flexibility to choose your own packaging materials when utilizing the Ground Advantage service.
